Extremism and Generativity
This study is particularly interested in examining whether or not there is a link between violent extremism and generativity. The study was developed out of conversations with community groups interested in examining why people join, contribute, and exit extremist groups, and participate in violent extremism.
In connection to our other studies, we are also looking to see if age (youth, emerging adulthood, middle adulthood, etc.) plays a part.

"I thought I could make a difference"
This photo highlights some quotes from individuals who were previously involved in radicalization or extremist violence. As you can see, they indicate that the route of their behaviour may be linked to themes that overlap with generativity (the concern for future generations).
