Knowledge Mobilization
Knowledge Mobilization (KMb) is a key piece of our work within the CandY lab. KMb encompasses a wide range of activities relating to the production and use of research results, including knowledge synthesis, dissemination, transfer, exchange, and co-creation or co-production by researchers and knowledge users.

Knowledge Mobilization Plan
The Community and Youth Lab integrates knowledge mobilization into our research design. Integrating KMb into our research plan allows to connect with individuals who may be interested in, or could benefit from, the research done within our lab.

Integrating KMb into our research plan means engaging with stakeholders throughout the research process. For us, that includes participating in knowledge exchanges, conferences, developing modules, and sharing content on our website and other social media platforms.

Our knowledge mobilization plan is an on-going, cyclical process, that often happens simultaneously. The bulk of our KMb goes into content planning and creation, knowledge exchanges, and evaluation.

One of our major research goals is to develop a model of generativity that can be used to measure youth generativity. When sharing our findings, our primary stakeholders are youth and youth-serving organizations. This is why we centre youth in our KMb plan and in our knowledge exchanges.
